7 Things You Should Never Ever Search On Google

In the depths of the world wide web, there’s probably nothing that can’t find answers. “Ask Google,” or “Google it,” has now become a standard response to all, if not every, problem. Over the years, the internet has become the primary source of information (and misinformation). And since this load of online information is not regulated or streamlined, there are bound to be things in the dark corners of the internet that are disturbing, vulgar, disgusting and even terrifying at times. So to save you from the dark hole that the internet is, here are some of the cringiest things you should avoid “googling” on Google.

1. Two girls, one cup

The internet has a lot of disturbing sexually explicit content floating around, and this video, Two Girls, One Cup, is undoubtedly one of them. Two Girls, One Cup is the unofficial name of the 2007 Brazilian porn film called Hungry Bitches, where two women are engaged in the act of coprophilia–where people derive sexual pleasure from faeces. It’s as revolting as it sounds.

2. Smoker’s lungs

“Smoking kills” is the message that is sprawled across every cigarette pack in the country, along with a grotesque picture of someone with cancer. If that doesn’t scare you quickly, searching for “smoker’s lungs” will give you nightmares. The search images for this show a side-by-side comparison of normal lungs next to a smoker’s lungs. If you’ve been finding it hard to quit smoking, one look at these pictures will physically make you sick and can probably imprint your mind with these pictures every time you think of picking up a “ciggie.”

3. Mr. Hands

If you’re wondering what’s so weird about Mr Hands, be prepared to be mortified. Mr Hands is the stage name of a former Boeing engineer named Kenneth Pinyana, who videotaped himself having sexual intercourse with a horse, not once, but numerous times. And that’s not all. Pinyana died due to fatal injuries after an incident where the animal went too far. He even became a subject of a documentary called Zoo (2007) that combined audio testimony from people involved in the case or familiar with Pinyana, shedding light on his fixation with animals.

4. Symptoms of various ailments

We’ve all been there, and we’ve all done that. We’ve all been guilty of googling minor (or major) symptoms of our feelings, whether it’s a sudden ear pain or identifying a mole on our face. More often than not, the search results are almost doomsday-worthy, with the C word looming around. This self-diagnosis can lead to stress and anxiety, and the information could be misinterpreted or false. Next time you have that nagging headache, pay a visit to your doc or consult with an expert, and be sure to remember that Google is neither of them.

5. Inside trash can

Typing ‘inside trash can’ in your Google search will bring up images of open trash cans. While it may not be vomit-inducing, it’s something that you don’t want to scan through, especially knowing the obscure kinds of things you’ll find in these photos of trash cans.

6. Rat king

Do not make the mistake of googling rat king like I did. Don’t do it. The pictures that show up are not of a cute little rat wearing a crown, as you may falsely believe. Instead, photos of a group of rats with their tails tied together. It is believed that when rats are together in a tight and enclosed space, their tails get intertwined, resulting from an entangling material like hair mixing with a sticky substance such as sap or gum. A similar sort of thing happens with squirrels too. But not to go down this hole.

7. Mouth larva

As a rule, don’t search for images of diseases that occur due to some insect or bacterial infection. A mouth larva is a type of parasite that can be contracted through contamination of food or water. This larva could attach itself to the inside of the mouth, leading to inflammation, tissue damage and even death if untreated. The pictures. Unless you want to see maggots inside someone’s mouth, avoid searching for this term and practise proper food and hygiene habits.
