Reuben Abati Reacts To Shettima’s Criticism About Peter Obi And Osinbajo

Arise, TV presenter, Reuben Abati has reacted to some comments made by the vice presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Kashim Shettima, about the Labor party presidential aspirant, Peter Gregory Obi, and Vice president, Prof Yemi Osibanjo

Abati, while addressing some of the comments made by the former governor of Bornu state on Arise News, said that he doesn’t need some of the comments rather he should be more focused on issue-based comments

This is coming after Shettima said Peter Obi has nothing to offer rather than dubious statistics. Moreso, it would be recalled that during the presidential primaries, he also addressed Yemi Osibanjo as an ice cream seller

According to Abati ” Peter Obi in all his campaign has said that he will address the issue of subsidy and also said he will deal with corruption and all the people who have sabotaged Nigeria and that is a challenge for Kashim Shettima. So Shettima shouldn’t always listen to himself alone before he criticizes other political candidates, rather he should also listen to others too so that he can have enough information about what other contestants are saying”

Speaking About the comment he made about Osibanjo he said

“It is not enough to talk about popcorn and ice cream and talk about wristwatches and having two clothes. He should focus more on issues because we know him to be very educated.”
