Aisha Yesufu, a co-coverner of the Bring Back Our Girls Campaign, has taken to her verified Twitter handle to respond to Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike’s recent comment on Indigenous People of Biafra warriors.

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, was filmed mocking the warriors of the Indigenous People of Biafra for being killed despite their charm in a viral video circulating on the internet.

In his words, when people say IPOB is moving around with charms, there should be no cause for concern because, despite their charms, they are always killed.

He then issued warnings to all terrorists and unknown gunmen that the government was coming for them and that they would be killed and buried with no one looking for their bodies.

In response, Aisha Yesufu took to Twitter to question why a sitting Governor would threaten the people with death and mass burials. She also chastised those who praised the Governor’s speech rather than bullying him.
