Anambra Billionaire Missing, Wife Raises Alarm

According to vanguard, Mrs. Tochukwu Ezemma, the wife of Anambra-based billionaire and estate developer Benjamin Ezemma, has appealed to security agencies for help in locating her husband, expressing dissatisfaction with the handling of his disappearance.Benjamin Ezemma, known as BigBen, and the Managing Director of Dubai Estate in Awka, was abducted on November 12, 2024, and has been missing ever since. In a statement, Mrs. Ezemma criticized what she described as the “conspiracy of silence and inaction” from the state government, asserting that it has shown little concern for her husband’s disappearance, despite his significant contributions to the state’s economy through his real estate and fashion businesses.

She said, “I can no longer remain silent. It has been over two months of intense suffering for me, my children, and the entire family. I ask again, where is my husband and the father of my three innocent children? What exactly is going on? Why can’t this problem be addressed?”

Mrs. Ezemma added that authorities had dismissed her husband’s abduction as a result of a business deal gone wrong, emphasizing that her husband is a prominent figure in Anambra and his disappearance should be treated with more urgency by the state government.

“People of Anambra, please help me question the authorities. Has the law changed regarding investigations and arrests? My husband, a young man in his prime, is missing. This is a serious matter, and the public deserves answers,” she pleaded.

She also sought clarity on the ongoing investigation, questioning the high-profile individuals her husband allegedly met with before his abduction. Mrs. Ezemma expressed frustration that the Department of State Services (DSS) had informed the family that the case was in court, but without revealing any details about the charges or who is being prosecuted.

“We need answers. Who are these individuals my husband met with, and why can’t their identities or actions be disclosed? The DSS says the case is in court, but who exactly is the case against, and what are they being charged with?” she asked.
