APC Chieftain Eze Chukwuemeka Eze Criticizes Daniel Bwala Over Comments on Peter Obi

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has strongly criticized Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, over his recent remarks about Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Eze, a vocal figure within the APC, accused Bwala of political inconsistency and self-serving opportunism. He suggested that Bwala’s appointment by Tinubu was not based on admiration but rather a calculated move to sideline him due to his past role as an aide to Atiku Abubakar.

According to Eze, Bwala has a history of shifting political loyalties, having previously worked with the APC before defecting to support Atiku under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Eze alleged that after failing to secure a lasting political future with Atiku, Bwala returned to the APC in pursuit of a ministerial position.

The APC chieftain condemned Bwala’s recent description of Peter Obi as a “failed politician,” labeling it an act of desperation to remain relevant in the Tinubu administration. He further argued that Bwala’s attacks on Obi were unnecessary and misguided, insisting that Obi’s contributions to Nigeria’s political landscape far outweigh any criticisms leveled against him.

Eze also claimed that Bwala had been strategically sidelined in the Tinubu administration, only to resurface with controversial remarks against Obi in an attempt to regain attention. He urged Bwala to refrain from making derogatory statements about respected political figures like Obi, emphasizing that credibility and integrity in politics are more valuable than opportunistic shifts in allegiance.
