Boko Haram attacks again, kills Village traditional ruler, 3 others

At least four civilians were killed by the terror group Boko Haram in Cameroon’s far north region between Thursday and Friday, local authorities said on Friday.

The traditional ruler of the village of Wemdeley was killed overnight on Friday, while three other people were killed in the village of Talla Massali early Thursday when Boko Haram invaded the villages, authorities stated.

According to local reports, the terrorists who arrived on motorcycles also took away food and abducted at least two people during the raids.

Since 2014, the Boko Haram group has been involved in the far north region of Cameroon, presenting enormous humanitarian and governmental challenges.
