Boko Haram leader discloses the number of farmers that was killed in Borno

On Tuesday, Abubakar Shekau, the leader of the hated Islamic sect, Boko Haram, announced that 78 farmers were killed by the party and not 43.

On the weekend, Boko Haram assaulted farmers harvesting rice in the community of Zabarmari, in the Jere Local Government Area of Borno State.

More than 40 deaths were announced earlier, and Governor Babagana Zulum told reporters that 43 farmers had been killed.

However the terrorist leader said they killed at least 78 farmers” in the video released on Tuesday, where Shekau boasted about the murder.

Shekau claimed responsibility for the killing, accusing the farmers of handing over their members to the Nigerian army.

He cautioned that the same fate will be met by those in the habit of sharing information on the activities of the sect with the military.
