Protestors have blocked the Abuja city gate and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Road as anger against police oppression continues in Nigerian cities by angry youths.
The youth barricaded the expressway on the ever busy route, preventing vehicular movement.
The crowd, which had continued to grow by day, vowed not to back down on their demands for a nation in which every person works for the system.
A banner featuring photos of victims of police brutality in the country was also shown by young people.
As motorists were forced to take alternate routes, the blockade led to heavy traffic jams in the city.
Armed policemen attached to the town gate, meanwhile, allowed the demonstrators to move unhindered.
