Farouk Lawan sentenced to seven years in prison for over $500, 000 bribe

The former Chairman of the House of Representatives ad-hoc committee on Petroleum Subsidy, Farouk Lawan sentenced to seven years in prison for over $500, 000 bribe by a High court in Abuja.

After being investigated, Farouk Lawan was caught asking for a bribe of about $500, 000 from different Petroleum and Gas Company to exonerate them from fuel subsidy scam, part of which is Femi Otedola, the renowned Nigeria Billionaire.

Farouk Lawan was sentenced to seven years in prison over a $500, 000 bribe, after being found guilty.
