Shyngle Wigwe, the father of the late billionaire business mogul Dr. Herbert Wigwe, experienced a health scare on Saturday when he slumped and was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.
Contrary to rumors of his demise, popular influencer Tony Ogbuagu clarified that Mr. Wigwe was alive but in need of medical care, urging the public to refrain from spreading false information.
He wrote: “Herbert Wigwe’s father is not dead please. He only slumped and has been taken to the hospital. Make una slow down with all these bad news.”
The incident occurred amidst dignitaries, guests, and mourners who had gathered at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Isiokpo, Rivers State, for the funeral service of Herbert Wigwe, his wife Doreen, and son Chizzy.
The Wigwe family tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash in the United States, and their combined funeral service took place on March 9, 2024, at the RCCG Lion of Judah Parish, Isiokpo.
