The Honourable Obi Aguocha, a federal legislator, recently released information about his meeting with the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS) regarding Nnamdi Kanu, who is now in DSS custody. In a recent video shared by Arise TV, Aguocha stated that there were allegations Kanu was very ill or perhaps deceased.
He stated that during his discussion with the DG of DSS, he enquired about Kanu’s health. He stated that the DG informed him that Kanu was free to choose his own doctor as well as a medical facility other than those provided by the government for his treatment.
According to Aguocha: “It was rumoured that Kanu was dead, it was rumoured that he was ill; which I also asked the DG (of DSS). The DG for the first time, they had never had it before, allowed Nnamdi Kanu to choose a doctor of his own choice and at the same time allowed him to also chose a medical facility beyond the government medical facilities for his treatment. Nnamdi Kanu has exercised that privilege”
