Former Emir of Kano and new caliph of the Tijaniyya sect in Nigeria, Lamido Sanusi, has said again that he has no intention of entering politics.
The erstwhile regal king revealed this on Thursday, June 17 in Kaduna.
The former monarch stated that he will continue to educate the public on how to vote for the best candidates during elections.
He also emphasized that before the country’s problems could be handled, priority should be given to education, particularly for youngsters.

According to Sanusi,
“If we have people we trust who have vowed to work for the good of the country, we can band together and help them — this isn’t politics.
“If we do not teach our children to be successful, while others send their children to school, they will end up working for those who do, and that will be the end.”
