Igbo man can’t sell alcohol in Kano, but herdsmen have right to do business anywhere – Reno Omokri blasts Garba Shehu

After he (Senior Special Advisor to President Buhari on Media and Publicity) tackled the Governor of Ondo State for attempting to violate the rights of the herdsmen by asking them to vacate all the forest reserves in the state, Reno Omokri took to his twitter account to slam Garba Shehu.

On Tuesday, Garba Shehu issued a statement according to a report published by Premium Times in which he urged the Ondo State Governor to counter all forms of crime but not order the herdsmen to leave the state because it is a violation of their rights.

Governor Akeredolu had previously issued an ultimatum to the herdsmen to vacate all forests, adding that their actions pose a threat to the state’s protection. The presidency, however, is not on board with this order, making it clear that any race, party or religion should not be connected to terrorism, instability and crimes.

Reno Omokri slammed Garba Shehu for allegedly siding with the herdsmen in Ondo state after the Presidency responded. He claimed that an Igbo man can not sell alcohol in Kano state in the statement that Reno posted on his twitter account, but Garba Shehu said herdsmen have a right to live and do business anywhere in Nigeria, adding that it is an unequal union.
