Ahmed Musa, captain of the Super Eagles, threw the armband on the pitch, as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Cameroon in Tuesday’s international friendly.

This happened at the Stadion Wiener Neustadt with just 10 minutes left.

Nigeria head coach, Gernot Rohr decided to replace Musa with Anaya Iwuala. Musa took off the armband and instead of handing it over to Abdullahi Shehu who was closer to him, he threw it on the field and jogged off.
