An Islamic Movement, joined the June 12 “Buhari Must Go” Protest in Abuja, to kick against “bad governance” under the Buhari administration.

At the “Buhari Must Go” Protest they were heard chanting songs and seen holding placards with different inscriptions.

The protest may turn violent looking at how the police reacted to similar cases demonstrations in the past.

Recall that teargas were fired at the Democracy Day protesters in Abuja ,after they resisted plan to disperse them.

The islamic movement named “Shi’ites” were also protesting against the unlawful arrest and detention of thier leader, El-Zakzaky who was arrested December 2015, following an unfortunate clash between Nigerian Soldiers and the Shi’ites in Kaduna state.

Over 200 members of the movement was killed and the leader, El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat, was detained and currently on trial over an eight-count charge of illegal possession of arms, homicide, unlawful assembly and disruption of public peace.
