An Iranian academic has issued a stern warning, stating that Iran’s ballistic missile attack has dealt a significant blow to Israel, and if Israel decides to retaliate, Tehran will relentlessly pursue its goals until Israel is brought “into submission.”
According to a report by Sky News, Israel successfully intercepted the majority of the almost 200 missiles launched at its territory, with only a few landing in central and southern Israel, resulting in two people being lightly wounded by shrapnel.
In response to the attack, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to take retaliatory action against Iran, stating that they ‘made a big mistake tonight and it will pay for it’.
University of Tehran Professor Mohammad Marandi dismissed claims that Iran’s missile attack was unsuccessful, labeling such assertions as ‘wishful thinking’ in an interview with Sky News.
“It was a massive blow to the Israeli regime,” he said, adding: “If they dare strike back in Iran, we will hit them much harder next time. We will beat them into submission.”
Professor Mohammad Marandi from the University of Tehran has issued a stern warning, emphasizing that if confronted, Iran won’t just hit back harder, but ‘much harder’, implying a devastating and disproportionate response to any potential aggression, particularly from Israel.
“This was the tip of the iceberg. Iran will lose no war,” he said, adding there was ‘no doubt’ Israel would lose.
