Olusegun Obasanjo, Ex President of Nigeria, has just disclosed that all the elder statesmen in the country under the axis of Committee for the betterment of Nigeria have agreed to start taking actions concerning insecurity in the country.

Obasanjo said this to journalists on Friday in Abuja, that the CGN will present its communique to President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said, the meeting centered on issues based on issues about security, economy, welfare, well-being, unity and progress of Nigeria.

Those present in the meeting are; former heads of state and presidents, former Chief Justice of Nigeria, and former National Security Adviser, organized labor union, academia, women and other people, some present in absentia are; Goodluck Jonathan, former President, Prof Wole Soyinka, and Emeka Anyaoku.

“We have informed the President of our meeting, and he also sent his goodwill message and hopefully, the outcome of our meeting maybe of interest to him.

“We deliberated amidst ourselves, discussed relevant issues like insecurity and economy.
Our communique will be released after we submit our report to the President.
