A scene caught on camera, Officers of the Nigerian Police Force were threatening the media over it’s coverage of the June 12 nationwide protest.

As seen in a video by Politics Nigeria, a lady (journalist) was trying to stop the police from arresting a colleague. The journalist shouted, “He is my colleague, he is a journalist”. The police officers however ignore the lady.

Moments later, another Police officer began to chase other journalists at the scene. The Police officer interupted journalists, who were taking live video of the protests. He could be heard shouting “I go fire you now, move away from that place”. The journalist fled from the scene as the police officer approached them.
