Latest News : An APC bigwig in Zamfara has died at the age of 56.

Alhaji Lawal Liman, the state APC caretaker committee chairman, revealed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Gusau, the state capital.

According to Liman, the deceased died on Tuesday at a private hospital in Gusau after a brief illness.

“On behalf of the entire APC family in the state, I express our condolences to the state APC leader, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari, and other party stakeholders on their loss.

“I also pray to Allah Subhanallahu Wata’ala to grant him Aljannatul Firdausi and to give his family the strength to bear the loss,” he added.

Dan kande previously served as the state’s Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

He was the APC candidate for the Bakura State House of Assembly By-election in December 2020 and a former Chairman of the Bakura Local Government Council.

He was survived by three wives, twenty children, and a large number of grandchildren.
