Even after successfully submitting your national identification numbers for linkage, MTN published a note on its official website yesterday revealing what every subscribers must know.
The leading telecommunications network announced that those who have already created and submitted their NINs to them must be informed that the process is not yet complete until NIMC confirms it and sends them a confirmation or verification letter.
Which they can inturn resend to their corresponding lines and only on that note can anyone confidently say that the exercise is completed.
However, customers who have not received a confirmation message after one week of NIN submission should visit any of the nearest NIMC centres and correct the issue.
This knowledge is intended to better direct our Nigerian subscribers following the ongoing federal government-led NIN enrollment exercise.
In the meantime, don’t forget that the required deadline is 9 February 2021, and we need everyone to register as soon as possible.
