No fewer than six people have been reportedly killed in Nasarawa State by gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.

Reports reaching Naturenex News confirmed that the farmers were killed in a Tiv settlement in Keana Local Government Area of the state during the last weekend. Confirming the disturbing occurrence to reporters in a statement dated June 11, President, Tiv Development Association (TIDA) Nasarawa State, Comrade Peter Ahemba, revealed that the victims include four women and two men.

Ahemba noted that the assailants stormed Tse-Jimin village, Jimin-Gbaka in Aloshi kingdom of Keana LGA at night about 9:45 pm on Friday and killed no fewer than six residents.

He revealed names of the victims as Batholomi Yahaya, Mnena Gideon, Ityokugh Yakubu, Timothy Aye, Ababi Tsavbee and Blessing Oliver. According to Ahemba, one of the women who survived the attack affirmed to him that the hoodlums were Fulani herdsmen.
