The Nigerian coach, Paseiro, made three tactical substitutions that helped the Nigerian team secure victory against South Africa in the semifinals of the African Cup of Nations.
1. Terem Moffi
The first substitution was Terem Moffi, who replaced Victor Osimhen in the 110th minute. Moffi had some fantastic runs in the few minutes that he was in the game, and he scored the first penalty for the Nigerian team.
2. Kenneth Omeruo
The second substitution was Kenneth Omeruo, who was brought in the 120th minute of the game because of his penalty-taking skills. His spot kick was one of the most impressive we saw.
3. Kelechi Iheneacho
The third substitution was Kelechi Iheneacho, who replaced Ademola Lookman in the 102nd minute of the game. Iheneacho scored the final goal that sealed the victory for the Nigerian side.
Although Iheneacho had not played any game since the competition started, he became the hero of the game in his first appearance in the tournament
