1. The EndBadGovernance nationwide protest is expected to end today with a one-million man demonstration that will be coming up in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
2. The Federal High Court in Kaduna on Friday dismissed a suit filed by the immediate-past governor of the state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, seeking to set aside the ad-hoc committee report of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, among other declaratory reliefs.
3. Anambra State Police Command has launched a manhunt to arrest the suspects who killed one and injured another policeman during an attack on a police checkpoint at Omata Junction, Nnewi-Oba Road, in the Idemili South LG Area of the state. It was gathered that the hoodlums invaded the area on Friday and threw explosive devices on the police operatives at the checkpoint.
4. Six members of one family have been discovered dead in Obehie, Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State. The cause of the death of the family members has not been established officially but a source in the community claimed that the victims may have died from inhaling generator fumes.
5. Former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo, on Friday said the country can only progress when those in power change their mentality and critically re-examine themselves. Obasanjo also described Nigeria as a country that takes two steps forward and two steps backward.
6. President Bola Tinubu has told The Patriots, a group of eminent Nigerians, that retooling the economy for sustainable growth and development is the major priority of his administration and not working for a new constitution.
7. The Polish government on Friday pleaded with Nigeria for the release of the seven Poles who were arrested in Kano for allegedly raising the Russian flag during the recent hunger protest in that city. Deputy foreign minister, Jakub Wisniewski met with Nigeria´s charge d´affaires in Warsaw where he made a case for the release of the arrested persons – a lecturer and six students.

Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia has expressed deep sadness over the news of another unprovoked attack on Ayati settlement in Ukum Local Government Area where several people were reportedly killed. Over 30 persons were brutally murdered on Thursday in Ayati town, Ukum Local Government area by Local Tiv Militia.
9. Nineteen bodies have been recovered following Wednesday’s cargo boat accident along the Ezetu community river in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. The ill-fated boat conveying traders, mostly women and their merchandise was said to have left the community on the Atlantic fringe around 3 pm on the fateful day when its engine exploded, caught fire and sank in the middle of the river.
10. Former Nigerian President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on Friday advocated for more investments in digital infrastructure and innovative teaching technologies as a means of enhancing learning and improving the value of education in a world that is increasingly being driven by technology.
