Nigerian Transwoman, Miss Sahhara Reacts To The Imprisonment Of Cameroonian ‘Bobrisky


British Nigerian beauty queen and transgender woman, Miss Sahara has condemned the imprisonment of two Cameroonian crossdressers revealing she went through the same thing while in Nigeria. 

Naija News recalls that Shakiro, a popular social media figure, and Patricia were convicted of “attempting homosexuality” and sentenced to five years in prison on Tuesday May 11.

According to Miss Sahara, she recounted how she went through the same humiliation while she was in Nigeria. She also condemned the unfair treatment of crossdressers in Cameroon.

Two transgender women in Cameroon have been sentenced to five years in jail for contravening ‘homosexuality laws’. BASICALLY THEY ARE JAILED FOR EXISTING!!!! We must not keep quiet! 5yrs jail for being LGBT+. We must fight back”

It would be recalled that Cameroon court has sentenced two of its citizens to prison for allegedly involved in homosexuality.

Naija News understands that a renowned crossdresser, Shakiro was as well sentenced to prison for the act which is considered a crime in Cameroon. According to Cameroon News Agency, the individuals were declared guilty of the offence on Tuesday, February 9 by the court located in Ndokotti Douala. The suspected homosexuals were sent to the New Bell Central Prison in Douala. Naija News understands that Shakiro had been arrested and released several times by the country’s authority.
