Media personality Otunba has lashed out at the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi for exchanging pleasantries at music star, Davido’s wedding.
Kemi Filani reported that the monarch was one of the high profile guest at the traditional wedding of the singer and his beautiful wife, Chioma, which took place at Eko Hotel, Lagos.
A clip of him exchanging pleasantries with some of the guests at the event, made rounds online with Otunba slamming him for exchanging pleasantries like a guy man. He stated that the Monarch didn’t show any sign of royalty as he expressed how much he misses the late Ooni.

In another tweet, he shed light more light on his post after receiving criticisms. He made it known that he wasn’t against the monarch attending Davido’s wedding but exchanging pleasantries like a guy man.

Months back, the Ooni of Ife, made headlines after a video of him being publicly embarrassed by Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke surfaced online. In the viral clip, the two were at an event when the Ooni stood up to greet the Governor. He stretched his hand to Governor Adeleke who snubbed him to greet others.
The video had left many embarrassed for the monarch, while others defended Adeleke’s action, noting how the King wasn’t supposed to shake hands with anyone.
