Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has officially renamed the Apapa Family branch of the church. The new name, “The Favoured Family,” was revealed during a recent visit to Trinity Towers, the headquarters of RCCG City of David parish in Lagos.
Pastor Adeboye, accompanied by his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, shared that the decision to rename the church chapter was based on divine guidance. He emphasized that the change represents a renewed alignment with God’s vision and purpose for the RCCG community.
Trinity Towers, a significant location within the RCCG City of David parish, played a key role in this transformation. Serving as a central hub for the church’s activities, the site symbolizes the growth and spiritual journey of the former Apapa Family.
In his announcement, Pastor Adeboye highlighted the importance of divine favor in fulfilling the church’s mission. The renaming was met with enthusiasm from church members, who embraced “The Favoured Family” as a symbol of renewed blessings and purpose.
