Gov. Zulum Babagana of Borno state has put in a 24-man panel for the Internally displaced persons, IDPs in the state. The panel wants to return the IDPs to Malam Fotori community.
The community which is on the bank of the lake chad has been a victim of constant attack by the Boko Haram. The attacks forced people to flee to Maiduguri and Bosso.
However, Gov. Zulum has made new plans for the IDPs. Speaking during the inaugural event of the panel, Zulum said.
“This committee is set up against the backdrop of the relative peace enjoyed in many parts of the state. It was as a result of the successes recorded by the gallant troops against the insurgents.”
