The senatorial candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) for Abia South senatorial district, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has reacted to the controversy between the Governor of his party from Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo and his predecessor who is also the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
Recall that Soludo in a letter dismissed Obi’s presidential ambition and had said prior to that, that the investment Obi left when he was Governor of the state is now worth next to nothing.
Reacting on Television Continental (TVC), Senator Abaribe said,
“I think that that matter has been roundly treated by Peter himself. He said Soludo remains his Governor and that government is a continuum. And that whatever he hasn’t done, the present Governor (Soludo) will do it and both of them have agreed that they are friends and all that. So, I don’t think there is anything more for us to add to that. Any other thing will be stoking fire in a bush that we don’t want to continue.
We think that they are two great Igbo sons who have done well for this country, who have contributed in different ways to this country.”
