Shehu Sani Reacts After South East States Refused To Join Others Protesting Against Tinubu’s Led Govt

The Former Senator who represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted after Igbos living in the south east region, refused to join other regions protesting against bad leadership and economic hardship, under Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s led government.

While speaking, the former lawmaker noted that the south east region of the country is currently calm, while shops and government buildings in other parts of the country were looted by hoodlums. He went on and made it known that hoodlums who snatched peoples phones, damaged traffic lights and looted shops are not peaceful protesters.

Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Thursday afternoon, while reacting to the ongoing nationwide protest against bad leadership in the country.

Shehu Sani wrote: “It’s all quiet on the Eastern front while Shops and Government buildings were torched and looted in other parts of the country. Hoodlums snatching phones, burning offices, damaging traffic lights and looting shops are not peaceful protesters.”

Recall that Nigerians in different parts of the country today trooped out to protest against bad leadership and economic hardship across the country. During the protest, government properties in some states were looted by the angry protesters. On the other hand, it was reported that the five south east states refused to protest against Bola Tinubu’s government.
