“Simon Ekpa Has No Boys In Enugu, You Have Killed Innocent Biafrans To Prove A Point To Abuja” – Ekpa

According to Daily Post Nigeria, The Simon Ekpa-led Biafra Republic Government In-Exile has strongly refuted claims made by the Nigeria Police Force regarding the deaths of 27 alleged criminals, including individuals purported to be Ekpa’s supporters, in Enugu State.

According to reports by DAILY POST, the police claimed to have killed the kidnappers, including Ekpa’s members, during shoot-outs with security operatives at various locations across the state over the past two weeks.

However, Ekpa swiftly responded through a statement on his official X account on Thursday, denying the police’s claims.

He asserted that the 27 individuals killed were not his supporters but innocent Biafrans who had been falsely accused and targeted by the Enugu State government.

“This is false and lies, not only that, it has exposed Nigeria state as a failed state and as a country that has failed to uphold human dignity,” Ekpa stated.

He went on to emphasize that he had no supporters, or “boys,” in Enugu, accusing the authorities of using the killings to make a point to the federal government in Abuja.

“Simon Ekpa has no boys in Enugu, you have killed innocent Biafrans to prove a point to Abuja,” he added.

Ekpa also alleged that the Nigeria Police, in a separate incident in Abia State, mistakenly opened fire on one another, believing they were attacking Biafra fighters.

This claim, if true, further underscores the chaos and confusion surrounding the government’s ongoing efforts to quell the separatist movement in the region.

The Biafra Republic Government In-Exile, under Ekpa’s leadership, has continued to challenge the Nigerian state, raising concerns about the treatment of Biafran supporters and the broader implications for human rights in the country.
