Enyinnaya Abaribe, the lawmaker representing the Abia South Senatorial District, has given his take on the ethnic bigotry practiced by citizens of Nigeria.
Recall that the president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has expressed his will to put an end to tribalism and ethnic bigotry in Nigeria.
However, during an interview with Channels Television, Senator Abaribe stated that the Tinubu-led administration is a nepotistic one.
He made reference to the fact that the Eastern region is heavily guarded compared to other parts of the countries.
Furthermore, he revealed that the tribalism against natives of the Igbo tribe has been upgraded to the extent that police officers across the region now force passengers out of their vehicles and ask them to walk to their various destinations.
According to the video, “There is something going on in the south-east that is the worst you can ever see.”.
