During the inauguration of the Rumuokwurusi-Elimgbu flyover, the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, urged the people of his state to vote for his preferred candidate, pointing out that he has done well in the state and it’s left for the people to do the same for him.
Wike also slammed critics and those people who abuse him on television, stating that they would meet him in January because he would be moving from state to state, campaigning for his preferred candidate in Rivers State.
According to him, “by January next year, I will campaign among my people to see whom they would vote for.” So all of you who have been in suspense, who have been saying all kinds of things and abusing me, wait, January has come. Not only will I tell them where they should vote, I will move from state to state and tell them why they should vote for the people we said they should vote for. Nothing will happen. “So those of you appearing on television, abusing me, don’t waste your saliva again; January shall come.”
