Three more students of the Federal Government College were kidnapped from the national school, Birnin-Yauri in Kebbi state are saved by the Nigerian army.
This was contained during a statement signed and discharged to newsmen by the military representative, Onyema Nwachukwu.
The army representative, Onyema conjointly noted that a tutor was conjointly saved aboard the scholars.
Nwachukwu aforesaid the abductees were saved by troops of operation Hadarin Daji on Saturday.
Recall that variety of scholars and lecturers were kidnapped once gunmen attacked the varsity on weekday.
On Friday, a number of the abductees were saved by troops; but, one in all the abducted students was killed.
According to Nwachukwu, one amongst the gunmen was killed, whereas 9 motorcycles and 4 handsets were recovered throughout the operation.
“Troops of the Nigerian Army operational beneath the auspices of Operation Hadarin Daji supported by Nigerian Air Force element have reclaimed additional abductees of the FGC Birnin Yauri,” Nwachukwu same.
“One teacher and 3 students were reclaimed yesterday at Makuku within the in progress search and rescue operations.
“The troops conjointly killed one brigand and recovered 9 motorcycles and 4 handsets from the fleeing bandits.
“Additional troops have conjointly been deployed to dominate the forest and deny the bandits freedom of action.”
