Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, is allegedly plagued by his disclosed plan to move the Federal Capital from Abuja to Lagos State, according to the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization.
In a statement released on Saturday in Abuja, Kola Ologbondiyan, the Atiku-Okowa campaign spokesperson, stated this.
He commanded the APC presidential candidate to explain the uncovered scam in front of Nigerians rather than allowing his handlers to play to the crowd with jumbled denials and throw the blame at the feet of other political parties.
“The idea to move the federal capital was devised and spread by the Tinubu campaign and only became frenzied as a result of the public’s outrage against such a heinous conspiracy to sequester the nation’s capital for his personal selfish interest,” Ologbondiyan said.
“It is obvious that Asiwaju Tinubu’s trip abroad was a deliberate attempt to avoid the ARISE TV debate that was scheduled to take place tomorrow out of fear that Nigerians would call him out on the FCT relocation plot, alleged criminal indictments, perjury, forgery, and inconsistencies in age, name, ancestry, and educational background.
In addition, the APC presidential candidate’s handlers feel uncomfortable putting him in front of the cameras due to his ongoing embarrassing slip-ups that raise doubts about his suitability for the position of the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s president.
“On February 25, 2023, Asiwaju Tinubu does not deserve the votes of Nigerians if he cannot stand before them as a contender due to his extensive baggage.
“Until Atiku is elected president, our campaign begs Nigerians to remain steadfast in their support for him,”
