Femi Fani-Kayode, the Former Minister of Aviation, has just raised an alarm that Nigeria is going into another civil war.
He said this at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, during his speech at Nigeria’s 2023 Presidential Transition Inter-Ethnic Peace Dialogue that was held recently at the the former minister stated that many ethnic groups are “tuning out”.
He said that ethnic groups in Nigeria are arming themselves ahead of war, he further emphasized that most Nigerians youths has no interest in restructuring but all they want now is secession, this should be quickly addressed and should not result into use of arms to enforce separation.
FFK said thst Buhari administration in the last five years, has brought out nothing but incessant carnage, killings, ethnic cleansing.
Millions of Nigerians residing in the North and South region feels, they are being treated as second class citizens.
The Nigerian government should pologize to the South-East region after the killing of over 3 million people during the civil war. We need to set our differences aside and resolve their challenges in peace and amicably.
This can be achieved when Nigerians cooperate and realize the need to unite and tackle foreign terrorist groups.
