Watford FC completes the signing of Nigerian star

Newly promoted Watford has completed the signing Nigerian International Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis. The Nigerian signed for Watford for an undisclosed fee.

The newly promoted premier league side signed the player from Belgian side, Club Brugge. Although, he was on loan at FC Cologne last season.

Emmanuel Dennis, 23, —who has one cap for the Nigerian national team— spent the second-half of last season on loan. Dennis fell surplus to requirement at Club Brugge and was loaned out to Bundesliga outfit, FC Cologne.

Emmanuel produced one of his best performance of his career in a Champions League game against Real Madrid. He scored a brace as Club Brugge drew 2-2 to Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Emmanuel’s move to Watford means he will link-up with three of his compatroits at the club.

Williams Troost-Ekong, Isaac Success and Tom Dele-Bashiru are all fellow Nigerians already playing at Watford FC.
