Pastor Temitope Joshua, founder of the Synagogue of the Nations (SCOAN), began to feel uncomfortable as he presided over the church service on Saturday, June 5. The country learned that the man of God presiding over the service had left to his apartment at some point.
The church said that the last word Joshua said to its members was “watch and pray” According to reports, his assistant thought it would be a short break, but when he did not come back for a long time, the anxiety soon began.
The assistants checked the reason for the delay and discovered that he was in an unusual position. A former aide and close friend of the deceased cleric told the National Daily that the entire place would be “sterilized” but did not reveal the cause of death.
“The service started in the evening. But it was around 3am that he was pronounced dead by a hospital.”
