Mohammed Aliu, a political analyst has urged for reconciliation in the ongoing feud between former Governor Nyesom Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara in Rivers State.
In an interview with Vanguard, Aliu alleged that Wike looks much older than his age due to trouble. He also urged all parties to come together and find a lasting solution to the dispute and cautioned against the destructive consequences of prolonged conflict.
Using the example of former Nigerian leader, Abacha, Aliu reminded that even powerful figures can face consequences
In Aliu’s words: “Wike is a young man, he is not yet 60, look at his looks, he is looking like a 70 years old man because of trouble. You are not giving peace to somebody and you yourself you are not having peace. They should talk to him, there is no human being that God has created that he can’t deal with”
