2023: Vote For People Who Will Not Kill And Destroy Bandits In The Northern Region – Ahmad Gumi

Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has warned Northerners to be very careful when voting in the 2023 general elections, he advised them not to vote for politicians who will not grant amnesty to bandits wreaking havoc across the Northerner region.

According to Sheikh Ahmad, bandits are warriors who should not be killed but negotiated with them.

Sahara Reporters gathered that the controversial Islamic cleric made this known during one of his recent sermons.

In his speech, he said, “vote for those who after attaining power will call and negotiate with our people (bandittooo give them what they want for peace to reign.”

Sheikh Ahmad Gumi is well-known for visiting bandits in the bushes and trying to negotiate a peace deal with them.

We would remember vividly that the Islamic cleric, Gumi had earlier met with some suspected terrorists in the forests of Zamfara and Kaduna states in Nigeria.

The controversial Islamic Cleric has pleaded with the Nigerian government to grant amnesty to bandits as it gave to Niger Delta militants.

Gumi further stated that the military action against criminal bandits and herdsmen will not stop the security challenge, but “will only worsen the situation”.

Gumi added that the Nigerian government led by President Muhammadu Buhari should spend billions of Naria to build schools for bandits and terrorists rather than spending it on security hardware.
