Armed robbers, on Friday, murdered a man in Kogi State.
According to Punch, the assailants dispossessed the deceased of a yet-to-be-ascertained sum of money before they shot him dead.
Eyewitnesses told the aforementioned publication that the armed robbers trailed the man from the bank up to Phase II, Lokongoma right in front of the market, where they double-crossed his car, dragged him out, pumped several bullets at him, and took away a bag full of money which he had earlier withdrawn from the bank.
Efforts to get the Kogi Police Command to react to the development have not been successful as calls to the spokesperson rang out.
