A primary school pupil in the North has become an internet sensation after opposing the motion “Voting Should Be Mandatory” during a debate.
In a video that has gone viral, the young boy called out President Bola Tinubu, stating that he cannot handle the country after winning the 2023 presidential election.
He also criticized the Senate’s lifestyle and budgets for flashy cars, and suggested that all Nigerian leaders should be bundled into one plane and made to crash land.
The young pupil’s speech has triggered reactions from chieftains of the PDP, Dino Melaye and Shehu Sani, who appreciated the boy’s courage in speaking out.
However, the video has also highlighted the economic hardship in Nigeria, with reports of residents in Lagos State queuing in front of a bread factory and being flogged by factory workers in exchange for a N100 loaf of bread.
