The Nigeria Police Force, through its National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC), has officially declared Ihuoma Julia Nneji, daughter of ABC Transport’s founder Frank Nneji, wanted over alleged involvement in various cybercrime-related offenses.
In a bulletin released by the Office of the Inspector-General of Police, Nneji is being sought in connection with allegations including cyberstalking, criminal defamation, and injurious falsehood. Authorities have issued a directive for her immediate arrest and have urged the public to provide any relevant information regarding her whereabouts. Her last known location, according to the police, is Victoria Garden City, Lagos.
This police action follows closely on the heels of a defamation suit filed by Nneji at the Federal High Court in Abuja. The lawsuit, which garnered significant public attention, names social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse (popularly known as VeryDarkMan), influencer Kemi Olunloyo, and legal practitioner Henry Ikenna Uzochukwu as defendants.
VeryDarkMan had earlier alleged that Nneji falsely presented herself as an American travel nurse, accused her of making damaging claims against her ex-husband, and undergoing cosmetic procedures such as a Brazilian Butt Lift.
What began as a heated exchange on social media has now escalated into a full-blown criminal investigation, signaling a new phase in the unfolding saga.
The police have called on members of the public to support the investigation by providing any credible leads that may help locate and apprehend Nneji.
