Tinubu Returns To Abuja Amid Ill Health Rumours [Video]
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, has returned to Abuja after returning from a campaign rally in Niger State.
Tinubu alongside some APC chieftains landed at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Aiport in Abuja on Wednesday evening after attending the presidential campaign rally in the North West.
The APC standard bearer, who was received by a mammoth crowd of party supporters, was ushered into a car alongside his running mate, Kashim Shettima.
Naturenex earlier reported that the APC candidate arrived late for the rally held at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna, the state capital. It was learned that Tinubu was advised to rest on Tuesday evening after he made an appearance at the North West zone rally held at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna thus delaying his arrival in Minna until Wednesday.
However, Tinubu who arrived at the rally venue in the afternoon was reportedly rushed off the campaign ground because of health concerns.
The APC Presidential Campaign Council, however, denied media reports that the party’s flag bearer was rushed out of the rally ground due to ill health.
Ansaru terrorists operate as another government in Birnin Gwari LGA of Kaduna state, collect levies from residents – Councillor
A Senior Councillor of the Birnin Gwari Emirate, Zubair Abdurra’uf has raised an alarm of Ansaru terrorist group establishing another government within Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State and collecting taxes from residents.
Speaking in an interview on Channels Television, Abdurra’uf said the splinter group of the notorious Boko Haram terrorist group came into Birnin Gwari over 12 years ago under the guise of teaching the people Islamic knowledge but later turned to insurgents with abhorrence for western education.
He said;
“We have a government within the government.
“There are some areas within Birnin Gwari, particularly the eastern part, whereby the Ansaru (group) administer this territory because they give directives to the citizens who are there and they decide what to be done.
“Most of the schools in the area are deserted because they issued a decree that nobody should go to any school or have any form of formal education.”
Abdurra’uf also noted that Birnin Gwari is vast and has a difficult terrain and mountainous places with an adjoining forest to Zamfara and other states.
