The Former Spokesperson of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Dan Masari Ibu has stressed on the need for all Nigerians to uphold the unity of Nigeria during AIT News’ special program, Road To 2023 (Ethno-Regional, Socio-Cultural Groups In Politics). When the presenter asked him whether Arewa and other sociocultural organizations like Afenifere and Ohanaeze Ndigbo have ever collaborated to achieve a common goal, Dan Masari Ibu said he has been to Enugu, Anambra and other states in Southeast to extend a hand of fellowship with the Igbos so that they can work together for the unity of Nigeria.

Speaking further, Dan Masari Ibu said that the peaceful coexistence of Nigeria is first and foremost an issue to them in the North, and that without that, there would be ‘crisis’ considering what Nigeria went through during the civil war. He said their duty in ACF is to move around and meet their brothers in other regions.
