The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the release of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
Naturenex reports that candidates who participated in this year’s examination can now check their results.
The development was confirmed in a statement made public on Friday, offering candidates several ways to access their results.
As usual, JAMB has maintained its result-checking system via SMS and its online portal to ensure that all candidates, over 1.95 million of them nationwide, can easily access their scores.
Checking 2025 UTME Results via SMS
Candidates eager to view their results can do so by using the mobile number they used when registering for the UTME. To make the process simple, JAMB has designated two official SMS codes — 55019 and 66019 — for result checking.
Here’s how it works:
- Open your phone’s messaging app on the same mobile line used for your UTME registration.
- Type “RESULT” in capital letters, leave a space, then input your JAMB Registration Number.
- Send the message to either 55019 or 66019.
- Shortly after, you’ll receive an SMS containing your UTME scores for each subject.
Please note, this service comes with a ₦50 charge, which will be deducted from your phone’s airtime balance.
How to Check Your UTME Result on the JAMB Portal
For those preferring to check their scores online, JAMB’s official result portal remains accessible. This option offers a more detailed breakdown of each candidate’s performance and can be accessed via a smartphone or computer.
To check your result online:
- Visit the JAMB e-facility portal at https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility.
- Log in with your JAMB registration number or the email address you registered with, alongside your password.
- Select “Print Examination Slip” to view and print your exam details and results.
