Kilimani Has Turned Into Sodom And Gomorrah

Dagoreti North Member of Parliament Beatrice Elachi has now likened Kilimani area in Nairobi to Sodom and Gomorrah.

Prostitution causing Havoc

Speaking at a local TV station on Tuesday morning, Elachi opened up on how the area has changed completely recounting how she usually bumps into university students wearing skimpily causing havoc in the area especially at night.

“When you walk in Kilimani at night, which I do, nowadays I have had to become a police officer. I find young people all over. How they are dressed we have decided that is our value. I don’t know what Kenya and I don’t know what is happening with our country,” she said.

She lamented that the area has seen a rise in insecurity calling on the police to swiftly look into the matter.

“We have decided to become Sodom and Gomorrah and we don’t care.”

Furthermore, Elachi pointed out the deteriorating standards of behavior within bars and clubs in the Dagoreti North constituency.

“How I wish you could walk in clubs in Dagoretti North, oh you would feel bad for parents…We said we didn’t want a brothel in Kenya. We have so many in the bars,”

Nigerians colluding with Police

She emphasized the need for stricter regulation and enforcement to address these issues effectively.

Elachi also raised concerns about the impact of foreign nationals on the security situation in Dagoreti North, suggesting that their presence has contributed to compromising security in the area.

“The Nigerians have some policemen that protect them, the Pakistanis have their own, and they are protected. So each team in Dagoretti North, that’s how they operate,”
