Lagos–Calabar: Peter Obi Reacts After Seeing How FG Used Bulldozer To Demolish Landmark Beach

Peter Gregory Obi, a former governor of Anambra State and a candidate for the Labour Party (LP in the 2023 presidential election, has expressed his reaction after seeing the Federal Government’s deployment of bulldozers to destroy Landmark Beach in Lagos State.

“FG Adamant on a Misplaced Priority” was the subject of a post that he published on his official X handle on Tuesday. In the message, he expressed that the sight of the insensitive demolition is really distressing. Bulldozers are causing the homes of old people to be destroyed, according to Peter Obi, who stated that this is happening.

The former governor of Anambra state wrote on his page;

“The outcry against this project has been overwhelming due to the current situation in the country. The sight of this insensitive demolition is heart-wrenching. Livelihoods are being wiped away, lifetime investments are being wasted, and jobs are disappearing as bulldozers roar through. The homes of the elderly are being overturned by the power of bulldozers”.
