Former First Lady Michelle Obama may replace President Joe Biden as the Democratic candidate for the 2024 presidential election, according to rumors circulating online.
The rumors started after former President Barack Obama met with Biden in December 2023, and the Wall Street Journal reported that Obama is among those on the left who fear a return of Donald Trump.
New York Post columnist Cindy Adams reported that Obama’s team has sent surveys to some of the big donors inside the Democratic Party, asking for their views.
However, the rumor has been dismissed by some as unfounded, and Biden’s advisers say it’s a guarantee he is running. Meanwhile, Michelle Obama has expressed her fears about the 2024 White House race, saying, “I am terrified about what could possibly happen.”
