Published by admin on

The Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, has announced that the long-awaited student loan scheme is set to launch in Nigeria within the next two to three weeks.

The announcement was made during a meeting with a delegation from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) at the State House in Abuja.

The scheme, which was signed into law by President Tinubu in June of last year, aims to provide equitable access to quality education for all students in the country, regardless of their socioeconomic status.

Gbajabiamila encouraged Nigerian students to embrace the initiative, stating that President Tinubu is fully committed to its success. He also noted that the necessary preparations are being finalized before the official launch.

The implementation of the scheme has faced several delays since its signing into law, but with this recent announcement, students can look forward to accessing affordable loans to finance their education.
