Only In Nigeria You Have Half Of It’s Population Poor And The Citizens Are Quiet About It – Peter Obi

The former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of Labour party, Peter Obi George has said that only in Nigeria you have half of it’s population poor and the Citizens are pretending that everything is okay. He made this statement after CCN invokes God’s protection on him and othwe presidential candidates others in Enugu.

According to Vanguard news, Ahead of 2023 general election, The Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN) today in Enugu handed the Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi and other candidates in the 2023 general election, to God for protection in their campaigns.

They used Obi and the DSP Presidential candidate, Adewale Adebayo who were present as point of contact to other candidates praying for “peaceful campaigns and election

Speaking to the Assembly, Obi charged the church to work hard to ensure they elect a leader with competence, capacity commitment and integrity, adding that The Church should take action, aside prayers

“Bad leadership brought us here and we must stop it. Only in Nigeria you have half of its population poor and the citizens are quiet, pretending as if everything is okay”- Peter Obi said.
